SomeKidsGames.com is a website I created as a place on the web for Kids, Teachers, Parents, and whoever else out there, that are looking for an Online Game Website appropriate for children. Children covers a pretty broad range here. While kids between the ages of 4-8 might find some of the games entertaining, a lot of the games are going to be over their head. Try SchoolGamesJr.com, Starfall.com, StorylineOnline.net, FunBrain.com, NickJr.com, SeasameStreet.org, or another. This site has a ton of games geared towards older kids in upper elementary school, middle school, and really anyone older than that. I test out all the games before publishing them to the site and if I don’t enjoy it odds are it’s not going to be on here.

Also, the games you find on the site aren’t strictly educational, the way a lot of other people gear their Kids Game Sites.  Although I think a lot of them, especially the logic section, really do challenge you to use some thinking skills. The one thing you won’t find though are games with suggestive content or gratuitous violence. That is really what it comes down to when deciding if a game can be here.

People suggest games all the time and I welcome you to use the contact form to let me know if you have seen a game you think would be good for the site. Ask yourself a couple questions before hand though:

1. Is violence a main aspect of the game?

2. Is there blood?

3. Is there foul language, even a little bit?

4. If you were a parent and your five year old played this game would you be upset?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes then the game isn’t going to work for this site. Find another game site to play it on.

Well I guess that about wraps it up. I hope you enjoy the site and find it a useful resource. Also, Sorry about the in-game ads. I discussed a way to block them in the help section if you find them to be inappropriate. I don’t have a way to remove them on my end.
